Marseille, France and a well loved Mamiya C3

Shooting ILFORD in Marseille with a beat up old C3 brick. The city is wild when you look around.

This is what came out of the camera (and scan) - how to edit old black and white is a mystery to me as I try and relearn how to shoot.

Michelle DuBarry dies at 94: Toronto drag icon and Canada’s Drag Race guest judge remembered - NOW Toronto

Lost an icon. From the article:

"A trailblazer and icon, she was still performing weekly at 84, when in 2015, Guinness World Records named her the World’s Oldest Performing Drag Queen.

Although the international honour was contested and surpassed, it underscored her extraordinary longevity and enduring popularity with audiences, and the growing mainstream recognition of drag as an art form, eventually leading to top-ranked television competitions.

In 2020, she appeared as a guest judge on the first season of Canada’s Drag Race (ep. 9)."

Taking negatives to the printer to try some cyanotypes

If you're gonna shoot on a C3, then get high rez scans, you're obviously only going to get a fidelity of the print shop's acetate printer. That said, getting back your images and sticking them to a window is awesome.

Abandoned Train-Tracks In Paris [Mamiya C3, Ektar 100]

It was my third roll out of the camera and I wasn't sure the film advance was working. So I opened the back in a panic. Cooked most of the roll, but I did get this shot.

So it wasn't a total loss!

Shooting [Ektar 100] In Taiwan With A [Mamiya C3]

The warmth on this film is something that takes some getting used to.

It's also only my second roll off the camera - and I've done some colour corrections - it's all a work in progress.

Tell me all the things I've got wrong!

So is this going to mean house pricing in the GTA stays steady, or will it start rising again?

Timing this market is impossible!
