How do you think the sexualised stereotype was made?

How do you think the sexualised stereotype was made?

My theory is that society looks at a community and eventually finds a part that's weird and horny and ends up spreading a stereotype based on what's like 1% of the actual community.

Then, shit doesn't just hit the fan, an elephant with diarrhea appears in front of a jet engine, because then people who are trying to find themselves and who they are through this community see that sexualised stereotype and imitate it without realising that's not who they have to be. And then the ouroboros is born.

I'm not saying that people aren't allowed to be horny, I'm just saying I don't wanna be sexualised (also if you sexualise me, it makes you a pedo). I'm allowed to consider myself feminine without being considered a whore.

How annoying is the backtracking in the shantae games?

I've tried metroidvanias before and I just couldn't play them, no matter how much I actually enjoy finding secrets, I inevitably end up missing where I'm actually meant to go and if I do find it I just sit there looking so disappointed that I'm surprised that my soul didn't leave my body then and there.

So what's the gameplay like, because I really wanna play it!

Although I've only played 2 metroidvanias in the past (hollow knight and tunic) I ended up playing hollow knight for over 40 hours... didn't beat it... and I got bored of tunic.

Should I give it a try, if so then what game?
