I retired 10 weeks ago after 38 1/2 years of service. I knew the process was going to take a while, but not this long! I called OPM yesterday on 8/7/2026 to ask when are they going to review and calculate my benefits? The person stated that they could not assist me because they haven’t received my retirement package from the PO. I stated how is the possible when on my ORA platform it was submitted by the PO on July 13?!?! She refused to help me and told me to call HR and ask them to resubmit it. When I called the post office HR, they said once it is submitted , they cannot resubmit it. I’m getting a run around and very frustrated both parties!! 9 weeks without paycheck!!
