Help! Second generation dying :(
hi!! i got sea monkeys as sort of a joke when i visited utah at new years, and now i’m OBSESSED. i have 7 adults that are still alive from the initial packet (ocean zoo brand). the 4 females are constantly pregnant & laying eggs. i finally had a ton of babies hatch recently and i was SO excited! but now, only a few are left & idk how to help? idk why they’re all dying :(
i’m only using the tank that came with the kit, do i need to size up or add anything? i have a good bit of algae growth on the bottom now & i aerate by pouring half the tank into a cup and back into the tank every day. do i need an aerator? temps are pretty constant & warm where i keep them.
is it even possible to turn the starter kit into a sustainable colony or do i need a more advanced set up?
