I’m trying to rent a place in Champaign through a small individual landlord. However, I’ve been getting some red flags. They are hounding me quite a bit throughout the process, and when attempting to send the security deposit to them via Zelle, the payment won’t go through. Does anyone know this landlord and know if they’re legit? I can’t seem to find anything online.
