Anyone have a Rocket Heater RMH2

I bought a Liberator RMH2 and need some help from anyone who owns one. Info I am looking for mentioned below might come from anyone who has a first or second generation.

I'm in the process of organizing the removal of an older wood stove and installing a new Rocket Heater RMH2 using the existing chimney. I've seen some videos online and read quite a few comments but I have some questions better suited for someone who actually has one and can give me some first hand information.

There is a brick heat shield and the pipe enters at roughly 5 or 6' as in the photo.

I'm trying to decide if I am going to build some sort of mass surrounding the exhaust pipe, what that would entail and if it would be worth doing. I haven't seen very many installed with a mass and the few I did see appear to only have the mass contacting the exhaust tubes that are in the horizontal position and they were done as pebble filled wooden bench style mass. There may have been one picture I recall seeing where the mass also covered a small portion of what would be considered the manifold (about 1 square foot of the bottom of the barrel at the exhaust/manifold area) using what appeared to be cob. The bulk of the mass was pebble and the manifold area seemed to be cob.

My stove arrives this week and I want to come to some decision fairly quickly. I thought to get an installer to do the work of swapping stoves so I will be ready for the coming cold season (here in Nova Scotia, Canada) and I could build the mass on my timeline. So I would need to advise the installer on position, distance, orientation, height etc. such that this would be possible. I'm worried about the draft during the time it may be used without mass and how many 90° I will use in the final location considering the height of my existing chimney sort of takes 1 of my allowed 90's so feedback is appreciated especially hope to hear from anyone who has a Liberator gen 1 or gen 2. If you did or did not add mass you might still have some helpful details.

- Thank you in advance, James
