I was kind of surprised to see this in the morning.

They're already shipping guys when we don't even know what they look like. That Hroptatyr dude could end up looking like a rock for all we know.

Hey guys, I found an interesting video criticizing yuri and yaoi by relation in Genshin Impact. Honestly, she didn't have a lot of views on it but I don't want to show her channel so she doesn't catch any "strays" if you know what I mean. She's already getting a little bit of heat for it anyway. She might've used this sub as reference too.

I thought I'd show you some responses though. Enjoy those.

Ok first of all, I don't want you to go find this channel and give them any hate. They're just having good old fun like they've always had even if I stopped watching it cause of so much yuri. They're doing stuff ML players too ok. My problem is the poster not the channel.

Now with that out of the way, I saw this post and it really geniunely irritated me. It is truly hypocritical and full of double standards. I've seen this channel before are we going to feign ignorance and act like all this person uploads is stuff for "Aether harem slop" or "Wise harem slop"? The majority of this channel's works for the past year or two have been yuri. And now you're going to act like this is suddenly a cringey person that does "harem self-insert" spare me. They're obviously ignoring all the other videos cause the one in question got the highest view count.

This geniunely irritated me cause I actually don't think this person is bad even if a lot of the majority which they're uploading is yuri, it's also because a lot of the stuff that they're getting is probably yuri. Please don't give them any hate.

You can already imagine the comments by the way.

Now I realize that all of this not cannon unless the developers state otherwise and I don't want to sound like a crazy guy shipping people for being next to each but it's still interesting to look at.

I keep noticing how people question why others ship Aether and Furina or why Aerina is very popular and I personally think it's because Furina is very comfortable with him and trusts him a lot. If you look throughout the story and pay attention to their interactions they become closer and closer.

Here in the 6.7 summer event, I noticed how there were certain times Furina chose to be next to Aether very much willingly. Even in the final picture where everyone was with their little pair, Furina was posing next to him happily.

This all shows just how much she trusts him and is comfortable around him. Hell, she's even sitting across him during the tea party with Arlecchino. I don't know if she's doing that for reassurance though.

I think is very deliberate by the devs to recognize that she's a potential romance partner of Fontaine.

Personally, the Aerina ship is probably my favorite next to shipping him with Keqing. It's a very wholesome and lovely relationship and I can't blame people for liking it.

I shouldn't be surprised by this reaction honestly and I didn't expect to see this right away, but it is still concerning at the number likes on some of these comments. I got tired of going through more comments. It can fry anyone's brain.

Credit to the guy who trolled them at the beggining though.

So first of all, I'm very greatful to this sub. It is a breathe of fresh air because certain commonuties are prevelant througout social media for this. It gets both boring and exhausting. This sub has been a breathe of fresh.

Having said that, I think the best way to keep certain "undesirables" out of spaces for fans is bring back the controversial damsel in destress troupe.

What do you all think of Aether in particular, saving girls like Odette from danger in 7.0 and beyond? I want to know if I'm alone on this or not?
