French Speakers
Hi all, given we are just across the channel from France and many Kent towns are twinned with french towns, I'm conscious some of us here may work, visit, live or holiday there. I've committed to self learning the french language via Duolingo as a bit of a personnal challenge. I'm 182 days in, making progress and doing ok, but I feel like im missing actually real life practice and interaction to sharpen my vocab, pronunciation and understanding that the app doesn't really give me.
I wanted to ask my fellow Kent residents or those in towns twinned with french towns whether or not anyone actually speaks French, has a French speaking friend(s), attends groups, exchanges or know any other fellow learners, tutors or speaking groups in Kent near where you are etc. that I can connect or link up with?
