How to Analyze Prelims PYQs + a FREE Quiz Platform for the Same

Links:

🌐 website: https://pyq-project.in/ (100% free)
🎥 how to use: https://youtu.be/RwSEEmSy8k0 (1 minute tutorial to save your time :P)

i started it off as a creative hobby and i only work on it / maintain it / fix bugs in my absolute free time over the weekends. it currently has 8000+ questions (content and coverage wise - as good as Forum IAS pyq toolkit if not better)

initially i made it for myself and was running it locally - showcased it in a YouTube video which blew up, many people were asking for it and wanted to use it themselves, so i made it live for everyone for absolutely free : )

2026 questions are yet to be added because i don't just dump questions, i fact check everything with caution and official answer keys because i use it myself : ) i'll add them along with all the other questions, over the coming weeks/months.

there can still be 0.01% bugs -which you can report and i will fix over the weekend or two or three or four (but someday! lol)

rest assured it's gonna be 100% free forever, even if i add any new features, it will be free.

flex: compare it with ANY other prelims PYQ tool of any coaching institute, the tool i have made and the content of explanation is unmatched + easiest to use 🕶️ (i know that because i have used most of them myself and it's only after many trials and errors i know the exact problem statement and what works)

and if you have ANY suggestions/ideas for improvement or want to contribute, i am all ears! feel free to reach out to me at he7cules@gmail.com

and ik it's a repost, but Prelims phase is around the corner, and i’m hoping this reaches many more people who might need it :)

hope it helps you in your preparation! let's make 2027 our best attempt!

good luck everyone! (wish me luck too:P) and happy studyingg!

Added subject/topic-wise filters + powerful search to my Prelims PYQ website - no login, no signup, FREE FOREVER!

same as title.

what i mean by "powerful search" is that you can search for something like “Governor” and it can also show questions related to what a Governor was called in the Mauryan Empire even if the exact word “Governor” isn’t in the question, semantically.

it also includes relevant questions from other exams wherever they overlap with UPSC CSE.

the explanations are detailed and matched with Official ANSWER KEYS

i’ve tried to make it as useful and frictionless as possible
- subject + topic wise // year-wise // exam-wise filters
- perfectly supports mobile/desktop/tablet

and of course, no login or signup, completely free, forever. (this is better than even the paid tools out there 🕶️)

it’s just a passion project/hobby so theres no profit motive behind it and it wont ever go paid
but hey, at least it Will look cool on the DAF, won’t it? /s

Hope it helps !! lmk if you have any feedback.

tool for analysing Prelims PYQs - free forever :)

This is just a passion past time project, no profit motive. i made a random YouTube video about it and it kinda blew up. Manyy people were asking whether they could access this tool, so i made it free for everyone : )

all the answers have been rechecked against official answer keys and the explanations are taken from various pdfs i found online on TG. (all fact checked as well)

to test it, try searching for "Lothal", "Article 14", or "Volcano" or any other topics you are studying right now.
You’ll notice that it not only shows relevant PYQs from UPSC CSE but also relevant questions from other exams as well to help better interlink the topic.

( NO Sign up / login / details required )

hope it helps:)

Echo Recall 2.0.0! - Now supports Anki Export :)

Same as title.

I just pushed a big update. Added a new heavy recall mode where the entire content inside the heading will disappear for you to brainstorm/recall. You can choose to review it right inside Obsidian or export it to Anki. (If you update the note in Obsidian later, it only resets the specific card in Anki that changed, not the whole deck).

If you do it inside Obsidian, you can choose between various scheduling and cue methods from retrospective revision deadlines to standard SM-2 spaced repetition.

Tho I understand the addon might still feel a bit complicated to set up, I have tried my best to add a very detailed README, I mainly made it for myself to study, but optimized and polished it a bit to share with the community :)

If it gets enough interest (like at least 1,000 downloads) I don't mind creating a quick walkthrough tutorial, because that would take me some time :P and currently I am super pressed with my exams approaching in 40 days.

I've attached a quick video showing how the anki export feature works.
