Is it the branding, the content, the customer experience, or just being around long enough?

When does a brand actually become memorable?

There are so many businesses selling basically the same thing.

Same products, similar prices, similar ads.

Yet somehow a few brands stick in your head immediately.

Wouldn’t it make more sense for a brand to dominate 1–2 platforms instead of being mediocre everywhere?

Do brands actually need to be active on every platform?

I see companies trying to post on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X... basically everywhere.

But sometimes their content feels way better on one platform than the others.

Do you guys prefer original content or content that follows familiar formats?

Is social media becoming too repetitive?

Same hooks.

Same captions.

Same “3 things you need to know” videos.

Same trending sounds.

I get why people copy formats that work, but sometimes it feels like every platform is becoming one giant copy of itself.

Would you rather have 100k followers or 10k people who actually care about your content?

Does having a huge follower count even matter anymore?

I keep seeing accounts with hundreds of thousands of followers getting less engagement than much smaller accounts.

Feels like reach and audience quality matter way more now.

Do you think taking breaks hurts growth, or is it actually necessary sometimes?

Do influencers eventually get tired of having to “perform” online?

It seems exhausting having to constantly think about content, trends, engagement, brand deals, etc.

I wonder if some creators stop enjoying the thing that made them popular in the first place.

Has influencer marketing become less trustworthy, or am I just noticing it more?

Do people still trust influencer recommendations?

I feel like I used to see a recommendation from a creator and actually consider buying it.

Now, if I see “paid partnership” on everything, I’m automatically a little more skeptical lol.

Is authenticity actually important for conversions, or do people not care as much as marketers think?

Does influencer marketing work better when the creator actually uses the product?

Some sponsored posts feel so scripted that I immediately scroll past them.

But when a creator talks about something they genuinely use, it feels way less like an ad.

Random question for people who work with influencers

how do you actually decide if an influencer is worth working with?

follower count seems pretty useless sometimes

i’ve seen smaller creators get way better engagement than accounts 10x their size

what do you guys look at before saying yes?

had a post get a bunch of likes

thought “this is it”

but barely gained followers from it

that’s when i realised

engagement doesn’t always mean growth

spent hours on a video i thought was actually good

clean edits, solid idea

posted it… nothing happened

then a random low-effort post did better

made me rethink what “good” even means

starting to think small creators don’t fail because of the algorithm

they fail because they protect their ego

and avoid making content that might actually flop publicly

feel like growing on kick is weirdly harder than people say

yeah there’s less competition

but there’s also way less discovery

so if no one knows you… you’re just streaming to 0 anyway

starting to realise “i think my content is getting better” doesn’t mean anything

numbers don’t lie

if watch time, saves, or shares aren’t improving over time… it’s probably not actually improving

been stuck under 1k followers for a while

posting consistently, trying different formats

but it still feels like shouting into the void

curious how long it took others here to break past that stage

was posting consistently for a while with barely any growth

then one video randomly did well

and suddenly everything else started getting more reach too

makes me wonder if growth is more about momentum than consistency

for those making hybrid work

what’s the difference?

is it better time management, fewer clients, or just more discipline?

because for me it always ends up leaning toward client work
