imposter syndrome at first job

hi all!

just wanted to seek some advice, i’ve just started my first job recently & for some reason, i’m feeling quite anxious that i’m unable to live up to the standards of my peers & supervisors. i’m worried that when i get actual tasks, i’m unable to perform my tasks independently without seeking help & looking more like an “intern” instead of a full timer :( i also found out that the other contender for the job had more experience & a better understanding of the processes as compared to me which made me feel even more pressured to learn fast & make little to no mistakes.. did anyone feel like this as well & how did you overcome it?

also! what do you think are some benefits of hiring a fresh grad over someone more experienced?

TIA all! 🙏
