Is it possible self-employ directly after A&P certified? Is it legal?

Me and my friends are still in school now. As everyone knows it's not easy to find a job locally in east coast without relocating. Me and my classmates are wondering is it even possible for us directly self-employ to do some parts flips/overhaul or minor repairs work as independent contractors with our own tools/equipment directly after we get our A&P license/graduate from school? What's the FAA law regulations and insurance difficulties about this? Do we lose our privileges if we are not employed by a company as W2 employee within 24 months of certification? Thanks.

Multiple students just passed FAA exam told me dauntless Only account for 70%

Multiple students from my school who just passed FAA written exam told me dauntless Only account for 70% of the questions in the real current exam, many real exam questions never showed up in their updated dauntless. One of the best graded student told me he read through whole 8083-30B 8083-31B books page by page. Some of them say it's the wording which are very different from dauntless questions.

Even I read whole books I'm not going to remember them. Do you guys who recently took written exams have some other software/app/sites recommendation, or have some better recommendations/tips than reading whole books? Free paid questions banks both OK. Appreciate.

Any newly licensed A&P in Tri-State Area have tips for finding 1st job?

I am still in school in east coast, every week my school will invite speakers from airlines telling us about how 1 A&P job ads received thousands of applications right now. I really don't want to relocate too far, as i have 4 pets. Any tips what I could do now to get myself prepared early in school to be able to get 1st job? No military background, Female, going to take GROL exam soon, and I'm interested in avionics, or probably want to finish BSEE in job in future.

Any tips appreciated!

Besides GROL, whatelse could help inexperienced A&P find 1st avionics job?

Hi i am attending part 147 school and self-studying for GROL exam now. I just want to know, besides GROL, whatelse a new A&P without job experience could practically do to get 1st A&P job in avionics landed after graduation/newly licensed? Any special training, other certificate exam, even paid program, etc. ? (I know without job experience everything is hard, that's why I'm asking) thanks.

Or What you could do when still in school to make your future employer want to put you in their avionics training/intern position inside that company?

Do you really swaging 7×19 cables by hand in your real maintenance job?

Hi I am a student of aviation maintenance school now. May I know Do you really swaging 7×19 cables by hand in your real maintenance job daily or often or not at all? I found it pretty hard to make it tight as my teacher required after I tried 50 times, that's why I asked.
