Betel nut has long been a unique part of Taiwanese culture. Whether found at roadside stands, shared among workers and friends, or seen throughout everyday life, it represents a distinctive piece of Taiwan’s local identity and cultural heritage. Through this theme, we celebrate the richness and diversity of Taiwanese culture—the stories, traditions, and communities that make Taiwan unique.
