Changing majors!
Hi! So I have been thinking about changing my major from general studies of science, to journalism. It may seem like a weird change but I think it will work for me!
I am still in my first semester of college and currently in the prerequisites of my major. The long term goal was to be a veterinarian nutritionist, but I’m already having doubts. I really like animals and wouldn’t mind working with them but I think I confused the love for help(if that makes sense).
I also struggle a lot in science based things, and looking at my degree program it’s just science after science. I’ve always been better in writing, and comprehension.
My parents are both in the health field(doctor, and head nurse)and expect highly of me, so I’m kind of struggling mentioning it. I have done my research on journalism and where it can take me, and it seems more my style!
P.s I have financial aid covering everything so they aren’t paying for nothing
