Am I cooked this cycle because of conduct violations? Utah told me it was the reason for my rejection

I’m looking for some perspective from anyone who has applied with conduct violations on their application.
I have two alcohol-related violations from when I was younger (18 and 20). They were both several years ago, I disclosed everything on my application, took responsibility for them, and haven’t had any issues since. I tried to make it clear in my application that I learned from them and have grown a lot since then.
I recently got rejected from Utah and emailed admissions asking for feedback. Their Director of Admissions told me directly that the reason they didn’t move forward with my application was because of the violations/sanctions listed on my application and that the committee had “too much uncertainty” regarding that part of my application.

So now I’m wondering:

Am I kind of cooked at certain schools just because these are on my application, regardless of the rest of my application?
Are there any other dental schools known for being particularly strict about conduct violations or that tend to screen applicants out because of them?
Has anyone here gotten accepted with multiple conduct violations, especially alcohol-related ones from several years ago?
Is there anything I can realistically do during this cycle to make schools more comfortable with this part of my application? Additional explanation, update letter, proof of growth, etc.?
If I have to reapply, what can I do differently to make

Medical History

I want to apply for the HPSP but I’m in conversation with chatgpt, about 8 years ago when I was 15 I went to a psychiatric hospital for “suicidal ideations”. I went and completed it and then was on Prozac until I was about 17, and have been off that ever since. I’m now 23, and have not had any issues or relapses or anything with it since. I think it’s safe to say that I was just a dumb teenager with to big of a heart and actually matured out of it. But I want to go into the HPSP so bad, either for navy or AF, and i wasn’t gonna apply army but should i because of this to help my chances? As im going through all the prescreening stuff with my recruiters this has popped up and while I haven’t discussed it with them yet because I don’t want to hurt my chances, I am very worried im going to be DQ’d very early. Am I fucked? What do I do?

Interview scaries

How the hell do I force myself to study for interviews. Besides studying the school and its mission statement and such, how the hell do I prep for interview questions. I’m quite the opposite of the pick me type so I cringe over talking about myself, or I give humble responses but like how do I break from that. How do people talk about themselves for hours. What are some interview questions that threw you off and how did you respond?

No Response Yet from School

Has anyone heard back yet from University of Tennessee? I haven’t had a single email or anything yet while I’ve paid supplemental and turned in secondaries for every other of my 14 schools about two weeks ago now. Was wondering if UT is slow or if they’re just ghosting me already.

What to do in the meantime

Just submitted my apps to be verified. What should I be doing from now until it gets verified, and until interviews start rolling out besides practice for interviews?

Boosters Angles vs Real DAT

Hey guys, I wanted to ask what your experience was with boosters Angles vs the actual exam. I always see super low percentages of people who actually got the right answer, and I generally feel like I’m guessing on them more than half the time. Were the actual exams angles as tough as the booster practice tests?

Doing better on individual Practice tests rather the Full lengths

I definitely do better on the individual tests than I do on the full lengths, but to be fair I started from 15 on booster and have only made it through 10 for the full lengths, all the others I’ve done individually. Is it normal to do better on the individuals rather then the full lengths and if you were the same way what did you do differently to counteract this? Or do better on the full lengths?

Dexterity section

Hey guys not sure what to put on my dexterity section, I know it’s probably not good to leave it blank, but I don’t play any instruments and I don’t knit or sow or anything like that. I’ve played a variety of video games growing up but not sure whether that’s a gray area in putting on there, what some schools would think about that. I wrestled growing up, I lift heavy 5-6x a week, pickleball, golf, among other things, do these count? I’m a non trad who is currently studying for the DAT rn and only decided dental a few years ago so for the most part I’ve been just doing school and studying all day playing catch up for the past year and a half and haven’t really gotten to do any hobbies so it’s hard to think of stuff to put down here. Any help would be great thanks!!

Quantitative Reasoning Question

Question about QR Section, whenever I run across the questions :

quantity A is greater
Quantity B is greater
The two quantities are equal
The relationship cannot be determined from the information given

How many times has anybody actually had a question where the relationship cannot be determined? I feel I’m never clicking that when I do booster practice tests and qbanks as there’s always something that can be done but whenever I do genuinely think it’s the right answer it’s still not. So I’m wondering, has anybody had any experiences where this was actually the answer?
