I’m a newly recruited software engineer in the Moroccan public sector and I’m trying to understand what I can legally do on the side. Is it possible for me to start a business/company while having a gérant handle the day-to-day management, or does being a public employee prevent me from owning a business altogether? If it’s not allowed, are there any legal alternatives/workarounds? I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has experience with this in Morocco.
