A Persian Paradise Garden

Persian paradise gardens are are common feature in middle eastern regions. They provide shade and cooling from the immense heat the people endure during the day. Water and symmetry are the most intrinsic aspects of these types of gardens and I have created my own version of a persian garden here featuring a few fountains, a small waterfall, two pavilions and a windcatcher.

Final Preview of a 350h+ Mosque Build "The Chandelier"

The final preview installment of my very lengthy and patience-demanding Mosque build comes in the form of a beautiful central chandelier. This piece of the project alone took around 40-50h and has an approximate total of 1200 props.

Much of the detail and design of this chandelier was made in conjunction with a friend whose bright idea was to use sinks as the main part!. Let that sink in. The sinks are placed incredibly precise using math and various reference points on the object themselves and the result has left us in awe on what is actually possible in this game.

Second Preview of a 300h+ Mosque Build "The Mihrab(Left) and the Minbar(Right)"

The second preview of my largest project to date focuses on the Mihrab and Minbar which appear in almost every mosque ever built. Much of the more detailing work was made in tandem with a friend whose input has greatly contributed to the styling of this mosque.

The Mihrab(left) is made out of luminescent blocks and at the center, several windows overlapped to create a unique design. In real life the Mihrab always points towards Mecca, and, due to limitations inside the game, the Mihrab points north.

The Minbar(Right) is constructed *entirely* out of props and objects. Not a single block is found in this creation. More than 200 props ranging from shelves to tables are arranged together to form the Minbar as it shown here. This took quite a bit patience......like a lot of patience. Seriously.

There is one more preview planned before the big reveal, and it will be quite.....illuminating. Stay Tuned.

First Preview of a 300h+ Mosque Build "The Bottom Windows"

This is the first in a series of previews showcasing the Interior Sections of a Large Mosque Build thats nearing its completion. No mods were used, just....a lot of patience.

The Windows are made out of glowing soups, swords and handpans, the mounts are pushed into the wall so they are no longer visible. The beautiful Golden Pillars are made out of Ornamental Vases placed vertically next to eachother. The flowers on the wall were constructed using Bronze Cups and various colorful objects such as Pillows and Potions.

A fully completed Traditional Chinese Garden

And there we have it. After a good amount of learning, analyzing and designing, I have completed my next large project in Enshrouded. I had a lot of fun uncovering the various ramifications that come with creating a Traditional Chinese Garden and am quite proud of what came out of it. I have named the Garden “Blue Whale Garden”, Courtesy of a friend who has been to China and experienced Chinese Gardens firsthand. The center rock is called Blue Whale Rock and symbolizes the heart of the “Whale” in this build.

For those who are interested in some of the architectural design choices I made, I have made a small list below.

  1. In Chinese Gardens, buildings co-exist with nature to create a harmonious balance. Neither should overpower the other and therefore its important to try to incorporate both in a rough 50/50 percentage into the garden.

  2. The main natural elements of Chinese Gardens are water, stone and plants. One should always have these in some shape of form in their garden. I for example used a semi large pond, supplied by a small waterfall for the inside, and a lush, vegetative path surrounding it. I have also placed large organic stone structures in many different locations. Every stone is unique and has been eroded by nature for many many years.

  3. Nine Turn Bridges are a type of zigzagging bridge that are very common in Chinese Gardens. They are easily distinguishable and allow for a slightly longer journey and also allow the visitor to see the garden in a plethora of different angles and perspectives.

  4. Every Chinese Garden tries to encompass the philosophy of a “Journey”. In this journey, the key is not to be able to see the whole garden at once, but rather see pieces of it at a time, which is done through careful planning and placement. The journey through the garden should feel organic and it should sometimes tease locations ahead by placing architecture and plants in a way that some of them are obscured. Through this technique, even smaller gardens can appear larger.

If you've made it down here, thank you for your attention and intrigue. New Projects await and there is always room for improvement and enhance my craft. Stay tuned.

Second Sneak Peek at my next project, a Traditional Chinese Garden

As my garden is nearing its completion, here is a small glimpse into a cozy pavillion, a nice little waterfall, and a golden Pagoda at the center to round it all together.

First Sneak Peek at my next Project, A Traditional Chinese Garden

I have recently been learning and analyzing the Design Philosophies of Chinese Gardens and have decided to build one from scratch in Enshrouded. I am very proud of the progress and want to share some of it with all of you.
