Hiragana followed by small vowel even though the hiragana already ends in that same vowel.

Okay this sounds confusing, but I’ll give an example of a comment I saw earlier.

Notice the なぁ? What is the point of adding the small vowel and how would you pronounce it? In my head it would just sound like な.

Unsure of how and where I want to get my masters degree

Hey guys! A little rundown, I plan to get my bachelors in human resource management in 3 years here in the US. My university is close enough to my house that I can live at home and do college throughout the summer as well.

From there, the plan was to also get my masters degree in the US. However, the main reason I am posting this, is that I also want to move and work in Japan once graduated.

I have recently heard that getting your bachelors in the US and then getting your masters in Japan is the better option because you can get accustomed to their business culture while making your resume more attractive to employers.

However, it is incredibly difficult to do Japanese college as a foreigner no matter what JLPT level you are.

My other option is to just get my masters here in the US.

And my final option, is moving to Japan after my bachelors and beginning my internship at the place I wish to work while simultaneously doing an online masters degree from the college I originally got my bachelors from.

This would allow me to complete the 5 year internship that many say is needed to reach the career I wish to do faster. And, I would be able to integrate myself in daily Japanese culture without gambling on going to Japanese business school.

Hopefully this has made some sense, thanks for reading!!

I’m not sure what to eat due to diet restrictions while strength training

Okay so recently I’ve been wanting to strengthen my arms. I used to be somewhat strong, but due to some things that happened I pretty much lost all of my muscle. I can hardly lift 20 pounds and my arms will pretty much be shaking. I know there’s a lot of stuff around diet that goes into it too. I can’t eat anything with gluten due to my celiacs disease so if anyone has tips on what to eat that’d be great. I also am looking to lose some weight but I’m already around 121 pounds, or 55kg, so my caloric deficit is around 1,100. If anyone could help me with some diet tips that’d be sweet. I only have a 10 and 20 pound kettlebell right now, but I have a weightlifting machine that my dad uses. Not sure if that’s for me yet. Thank you! P.S I’m a girl so I’m not sure if that’s affects how I should go about it.
