possible for raised numbers?
Hello, I’m 33 yrs old went to ER on about week ago for shortness of breath. They found that my ntpro bnp levels were 887pg/ml. Note prior to this I did get sick fever and slowly as I was recovering I did began to eat a lot of unhealthy foods, as well as just eating out a lot. Fries, burgers etc. so it did make me pack on few lbs really quickly. Since that hospital visit I haven’t experienced any shortness of breath and I also cut back sodium etc. Could these numbers possibly be elevated just due to high blood pressure? Or because I was consuming a lot of sodium/ and wasn’t exercising as much as I used to. I will be doing a follow up soon and hopefully see a cardiologist.
Flying
33 years old, recently went to ER for some blood work because I was having shortness of breath. Shows my NT-proBNP was at 887 pg/mL. I haven’t done a follow up at clinic like with Echocardiogram etc. Note that I have been eating a lot of unhealthy foods prior to this(lots of sodium), cut some weight and noticed my shortness of breath has gone away. I will be flying out of state in a week, you think it’s possible to get all these heart tests before flying??
