When integrals become random

Hey everyone,

I’m a researcher in computational mathematics, and I recently started playing around with Manim out of interest to communicate some of the aspects of my work to a larger audience. It remains to be seen how successful that will be ;)

I uploaded a video explaining the basics of stochastic integration.
What started as a "quick experiment" quickly got out of control a bit... Though I'm content with the results, there's clearly some points that I'd like to improve. Not just manim things, but also narration, and the entire process of video making.

I’d be happy for you to check out the video and provide feedback on the delivery!

Cheers!

Created a YouTube channel for mathematics explainers and science communication, looking for feedback

Hi everyone,

I've recently started a YouTube channel focused on mathematics explainers and science communication.

The idea came partly from my frustration with the current state of science communication in my research field (numerical mathematics/fluid mechanics) and a desire to contribute something myself. Since I'm a mathematics researcher, I decided to create educational content related to topics I work with and care about.

This is my first serious attempt at producing videos from start to finish. I wrote the script, created the animations, and edited the video. I've already realized that there are certainly many things that could be improved, but my main goal was to complete the entire workflow and learn by doing.

One challenge I'm still thinking about is the target audience. I'm not sure whether the content is better suited for undergraduate students, mathematically inclined general audiences, or dedicated math enthusiasts.

I created the animations using Manim (animation software package suited for mathematics), which has been a steep but rewarding learning curve.

I'd be very grateful for feedback on any aspect of the channel or video.

Thanks for taking the time to have a look. Any feedback, criticism, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
