Well friends, this is the last meal of the set. I prepared it according to the chef instructions.

The meat is tender and with the gravy has really great flavor. The diced veggies are not mushy and have a nice texture to them.

The mashed potatoes are fantastic. A very smooth texture and no salt or anything needed.

This may be the best of the meals. It’s hard to compare it to the others since they are so different. I do like the convenience of these meals and maybe if the price point was less I would consider ordering them again. If he does different meals I’d definitely try them.

Edit: forgot to include how I prepared it

I ordered all the Babish meals off of cookunity, I tried his fried chicken with Calabrian chili honey with smoky collard green mac & cheese.

I prepared the meal according to the chef instructions.

The chicken is tender and somewhat juicy. I think preparing this according to the instructions wasn’t exactly the best advice. If the chicken was prepared in an air fryer, the breading would be much better. Also the chicken could have a bit more flavor/maybe some more salt.

The smoky collard green mac & cheese is very good imo. Love the taste and the texture of all the ingredients combined together.

I might add some hot sauce to the chicken to finish it but so far it’s not my favorite.

I ordered all the Babish meals off of cookunity. I tried his spicy chili-garlic noodles.

I prepared it according to the chef instructions.

The noodles are cooked well and not mushy. The sauce has a ton of flavor including the chili crisp oil that you mix in at the end. The pork is well seasoned and when it’s all mixed together It’s a very tasty meal.

I personally don’t like peanuts in savory dishes, but other than that I would definitely order it again.

Ordered all the meals from Babish on cookunity. I tried the General Tso’s meal tonight

For a meal service type meal, it was overall very well done.
I did follow the instructions and cooked it in the oven,

The broccoli was crisp and had a good crunch, didn’t taste bland either, and felt under salted so you could add more to your liking.

Chicken had a good texture and the sauce was on point.

The fried rice with Chinese sausage was pleasant surprise, rice was perfectly cooked.

I’ll post the other meals as I prepare them.
