Is it crazy to think Avicii's album True is one of the most impressive and influential (to it's genre) debut albums of all time?

I went for a long run and threw on True and let it play from top to bottom and all of a sudden the album was over and my run was done. I was so lost in the music, the melodies, the lyrics.

It made me think about how complete of an album it is, and it was his first studio album! I know there are pioneers of house/electronic music that came well before Avicii but I do see a lot of current artists mention him as a major influence.

So, what do you think? Crazy take? Any other albums 2000-2013 that you would rank above it?

What was it like hearing Led Zeppelin for the first time in 1969?

I'm 29(M) and have always loved Led Zeppelin. Grew up listening to them and they are probably my favorite rock band outside of Pink Floyd.

I recently watched the documentary Becoming Led Zeppelin on Netflix and the big takeaway I had from it was Jimmy Page saying that he fought so hard for creative control from the beginning and there would be no singles because the albums were meant to be listened top to bottom.

So, yesterday I listened to their entire discography top to bottom in order (I usually listen to music album top to bottom) and it's hard to describe but after watching the documentary and learning what the band intended with their music, the way they left space for each other to shine on each song, it just was a truly wonderful experience and I felt like I was rediscovering Led Zeppelin all over again.

To my question (which is actually more than one)...What was it like when they first released their album? What did you feel when you first heard it? What was it like when they followed up each album with another classic? Lastly, what's your favorite album and why?

Would love to hear stories and experiences from that time!
