Doctor said don't take whey and creatine.
I'm not new to the allegations for whey and creatine mono. But yesterday when I took my annual health screening, the doctor asked me if I take any supplement after looking at creatinine and some other results.
I said yes, I just started taking whey first time. She spent the rest of 30 mins explaining to me how whey is incredibly bad and try to take whole food. I do take whole food and I don't replace food with whey. I use it as supplement. But she insisted that whey specifically scarring my liver and kidney and causing issues.
I'm 26 and she mentioned that if I stop immediately it should not affect my health anymore. The problem is, I just realized I only started taking whey for first time 3 days after I gave blood for screening. That means the only supplement I was taking at that point was creatine. ( A local produced sus creatine powder which had some rep for possiblity of not being clean creatine mono).
If there are any doctors here, please do let me know what more information you need before confirm if I have a liver/kidney issue even bfr starting to drink whey. Or if I have to stop completely like advices by this doctor.
