What would you do to change the national setup of Ireland?

I'm sure as we all know, Ireland isn't exactly the best national team, and isn't as good as it once was. There are multiple reasons as to why that is the case, but this post isn't about that.

This post is about suggestions to help improve not only the national team, but also the league of ireland, grassroots and youth teams.

In my opinion, there is a clear country by which we should be looking at and aspiring to be, which is Croatia. Similar sized population, similarly good at multiple sports, but still, a country that has generated a consistent number of top quality players, often developed locally before moving on to better leagues, and have performed pretty well at tournaments to say the least.

Ideally for this thread, I would like solid suggestions instead of doomeris, as I don't really think that's productive

When will an animated film get nominated for Best Picture again?

Thought this would be relevant given that Wall-E was a key reason in the expansion of the Best Picture lineup, and resulted in 2 consecutive Pixar films getting in the 10.

Ever since, not only hasn't there been an animated film that's been nominated for Best Picture, but only one animated film has been nominated in an Above the line category (Inside Out for Best Original Screenplay)

Even during the covid year, when there wasn't as much competition, Soul, which i think is generally considered as one of Pixar's strongest non golden generation films, didn't really get traction to be a Best Picture nominee. Same with GDT's Pinocchio, where it got some precursors, but ultimately only got an Animated Feature nomination/win.

My question is, what has resulted in this, and what would it take for an animated film to get a Best Picture nomination again? Personally I think Wildwood this year has the potential, but would love to hear what other people have to say about this topic

Fast and Furious Patreon series

This month, I went through the whole Fast and Furious franchise, including Hobbs and Shaw. And my main conclusion is that whether it's when the next(final?) film comes out, or if they just do it now, that a F&F Patreon needs to be done, as i feel it has potential to be one of the best patreon series they have done

The amount of weird, crazy shit that happens in these films is mental, face turns, heel turns, things that don't make any physical sense, plenty of space to talk about careers (Vin, Dwayne, Paul, Michelle, Lucas Black, Statham etc), and also a franchise Griffin is a big fan of. Finally, some of these films are just plain good, especially Fast Five and Furious 7

Now I know that some people may argue that they should just do James Wan or F. Gary Gray on main for more F&F coverage, but in my opinion, you gotta do the full thing
