Kevin Michael Richardson and Keith David both good voice of spawn,

You know what’s funny people confuse Kevin with Keith , I’m surprised people are confusing Both of their voices. I get their deep and all but still they’re both good voice actor for spawn.

Also as a spawn fan I been rereading some comics sometimes head cannon two voice actors (Keith and Kevin ) matches each art style of todd MacFarlane and Greg Capullo, for example,

Keith David + McFarlane’s style: David’s gravelly, raspy, tormented baritone has raw intensity and a hellish growl. It perfectly captures McFarlane’s visceral, nightmarish, over-the-top energy—the tortured anti-hero muttering to himself in the shadows, full of pain and menace. His Spawn has a rawer, more tormented and gritty edge—think weary, angry, and emotionally broken. There’s a distinctive rasp and intensity that feels personal and haunted, like a man who’s been through literal hell and is barely holding it together. McFarlane’s raw, grotesque, shadowy early art pairs naturally with David’s more tortured, gritty delivery—the voice amplifies the horror and street-level suffering in those panels.

Kevin Michael Richardson + Capullo’s style: Richardson’s deep, resonant, commanding voice is powerful and brooding but feels a bit smoother and more epic in delivery. It suits Capullo’s refined, dynamic artwork—the sleeker lines, bigger action poses, and more imposing presence. His version is deep and powerful too, but often comes across as slightly smoother, more commanding, and resonant. It has a bit more theatrical authority or “epic villain” weight, with less of the raw, scratchy torment and more controlled menace. Some fans describe it as broader or a touch cleaner in delivery. Capullo’s cleaner, more dynamic, epic artwork lines up better with Richardson’s slightly smoother, commanding presence—the voice gives that version of Spawn a bigger, more cinematic “hellspawn warrior” feel

In short: Keith David’s Spawn feels more visceral and suffering-heavy; KMR’s feels more imposing and demonic-authoritative. The overlap is strongest in the base tone (deep + gravel), which is exactly why they get mixed up—especially if you’re not listening for the subtle shifts in rasp, emotion, or pacing.

(also would it be funny if those two have a deep voice competition)
