Big Thank You to you guys 🙇🏻♂️
Hi again everyone,
A friend of mine has been rebuilding a Mazda BP6D engine for an MX5/Miata and documenting the whole process. I shared the first part here last week and honestly didn’t expect such a good response to it. (I want to stress this is not my channel. I just think he’s really nailed this video)
I just wanted to say thanks to the people who watched it, left comments, or even just gave it a bit of attention. It genuinely helped his channel a lot more than you’d think. He puts a massive amount of time into these videos and usually the algorithm doesn’t really push this kind of content very far.
This is Part 2 of 3 and it mainly focuses on the forged bottom end measuring tolerances, fitting rods, bearings, piston rings, ARP hardware, and getting everything ready for future boost. (I stole that from his video description because I still didn’t fully follow 🙈)
I don’t really know much about engine building myself, but I found the level of precision involved really satisfying to watch, and I figured people here would probably appreciate it even more than I do.
The final part should be up next week, so thanks again for being so welcoming to the project.
Engineering folks, genuinely, you are awesome! 🙇🏻♂️ Thank you!
