What's one thing you'd change about buying movie tickets online?

I work on the movie ticketing side at Fever, and one thing I've realized is that people care way more about the buying experience than most companies think.

We spend a lot of time talking about this internally, but I'm curious what actual moviegoers think.

What's the biggest annoyance when buying movie tickets online?

Doesn't matter who you use - I genuinely want to know what makes you think, "Why is this still so bad?"

Not here to pitch anything. Just looking to hear what people would actually improve if they could change one thing.

How far in advance do you usually buy movie tickets?

Curious how everyone approaches movie tickets with the Odyssey coming out soon.

Do you:

  • Buy as soon as tickets drop?
  • Wait until the day of?
  • Decide based on reviews?
  • Only pre-buy for major releases?

Interested to hear how different people handle it!

What movie was significantly better because you saw it in a movie theater?

Some movies are good anywhere.

But, others feel completely different when you watch them with a crowd on a huge screen.

What's a movie that became a much better experience because you saw it in theaters instead of at home?

After working in the cinema industry for a while, I’ve realized I watch movies differently now. Does anyone else have "theater habits"?

Hey everyone! I’ve been a lurker here for a bit, but I figured it was time to join the chat.

I work over at Fever Movies, so I spend about 40+ hours a week looking at showtimes, theater layouts, and trailer drops. One weird side effect is that I’ve become the person who stays through the entire credits... not even for the post-credit scenes, but just to see which post-production houses worked on the VFX or where it was filmed.

It’s definitely taken some of the 'magic' away, but replaced it with a huge appreciation for the logistics of a release.

I'm curious: Has anyone else’s job or hobby changed how they watch movies? For example, do any sound engineers here get annoyed by bad Foley work, or do interior designers stare at the set backgrounds?

Would love to hear some weirdly specific movie pet peeves!
