Scar Sheets

Can anyone recommend tried and true waterproof scar sheets. I really only care about my scar being covered while I’m in the sun and pool. If it does t actually help my scar look better but stays on when wet, that’s fine. I want to protect it from the sun.

4 months post and finally turned a corner

I was honestly starting to lose hope. Last week I was walking down the hall and work and someone commented on how well I was walking. I hadn’t even noticed that I wasn’t even thinking about my knee! I was walking without thinking about my knee! Yes, I intentionally wrote that twice. It was such a big thing. I feel like it happened overnight. I was struggling and then I wasn’t. PT even pushed me pretty hard after that and I was still ok. My knee is far from totally healed, but having moments of walking without pain is a huge physical and mental win.

I'm 13 weeks post surgery. I read so many posts here about this also being a mental strain, but I didn't think it would be for me. Joke's on me! My actual defect sites feel great! My ROM is fantastic. My issue is ongoing excess fluid in the joint that is causing me so much pain that I can't even sleep. I finally went back to the surgeon today because I couldn't take it anymore. He prescribed me a steroid pack to see if that would help calm things down. Has anyone else experienced ongoing pain from swelling and fluid? I really hope the steroids work because I feel like this is the only thing holding me back.
