Redid our kitchen after living here for 8 months. The last time it was redone was in the early 2000s. We took down load-bearing walls and installed glass windows and doors to bring more light into what was a black, colour-drenched, unused entryway. The whole process took 5 months, plus another two months waiting for the cabinet front doors after some back-and-forth about which doors to choose. We made a custom pantry and breakfast nook with storage in the seating. We still need to customize cushions for the benches and add a few more personal touches.
