Hii, I'm from Bulgaria and I've seen the outrageous prices for hotels this year. Burgas is a very beautiful city and I'm happy that it's hosted there, but if you don't want to spend your life-savings on some hotel, I'm here to help. In Bulgaria we have very old but still working trains and buses. You can get a place which is close to Burgas for example (Aytos, Sozopol, Nesebar (beach cities) or Shumen and Yambol (they are calmer cities). With that in mind you can take the train or bus from these places and go to Burgas. You can use the bdj site so you can see when and with which train you can arrive at you destination.
