Missed connection: we shared an uber from the bay st fedex to staples 🥹
Hi everyone! This is probably a long shot, but I figured I’d give reddit a try.
Yesterday (aug 3) around 4pm, I went to the fedex at 641 bay to return a huge package. Google map said it was open… but it wasn’t.
Another guy was there with a giant box too. He was already calling an uber to the staples on university ave to return his package and asked if I wanted to share the ride. I offered to split the fare, but he said not to worry.
The uber driver couldn’t believe we were complete strangers and made us introduce ourselves :))) We found out we’d both just graduated from uoft. He told me he studied ECE and had an interview last week.
Unfortunately, we exchanged names, but I’m terrible with remembering names, so I forgot his almost immediately 😭
He was Asian, wearing a black stussy toronto tshirt, and I thought he was cute.
After we returned our packages, I wanted to ask if he’d like to grab a coffee and maybe ask for his number. However I zoned out and when I realized we just said goodbye 😭 I even forgot to thank him for the uber😭😭😭
