“Hey, look, I’ve found a Trilobite fossil, you guys!” Max announced to his friends Zoe and Rex moving closer to see for themselves and there, embedded in the stone, was a perfectly conserved, hand-sized skeleton of a Trilobite, something that earned the gasps of awe from the kids.

Zoe and her friends, alongside Dr. Taylor and her sister Reese, were now in, and this is from what she remembers her sister telling her, the “Irimazawa Member of the Tamayama Formation, in the Futaba Group of Fukushima Prefecture”, practicing their ability to dig out and discover ancient fossils. Mrs. Taylor had come with them too, but was now resting in a cabin they had rented for their stay, so she would be fine on her own.

As instructed by Dr. Taylor, they would start with the smaller ones first and, with time, the three of them would move on to progressively larger ones, which sounded like a fun challenge to her. They hadn’t found much so far, besides some Ammonite shell fossils around and the Trilobite fossil Max had just discovered, but it was still a fun activity nonetheless! A part of her wishes that Amy had come with them, though Rex had suggested it would be better to lay low on the dinosaur stuff around her, just in case their luck leads them to getting into another dinosaur battle in which Amy might not run with the same luck as in the caves.

“Alright, so the three kids are still in the playground eating their lunch, Zoe is eating hers peacefully and Max’s bothering Rex into giving him a bite of his… Yup, nothing strange so far!” Michelle wrote down in her Super-Personal Journal as she watched from her office’s window to the trio outside.

It was Lunch Time and all the children were playing around the playground, eating their lunch, playing and then eating, or eating and then playing, all the while she sat in her wonderful office with a content heart and a full tummy from eating her delicious lunch, happy that it wasn’t stolen by, say, HARPIES WITH GREEN HAIR AND THE LOOKS OF AN ANCIENT TEMPLE!!

Hello, everybody! In case you don't know it, I'm SammySamSam78, the AO3 author of the currently in progress Fic of "Mother knows...", an AU where the housewife of the Taylor family is less blind to some things. Normally, one would expect things to be said and done in that moment, but if this Chapter's enumeration is anything to go by, then you know things will get messy and mad.

I've just recently created this reddit account, but I've been a fan of Dinosaur King for as long as I can remember and I have to say that I'm so happy that there are still people out there that continue loving this show just as much as I do even after these many years of DK going quiet (though I am admittedly displeased with half the fics in AO3 being to god damned LUSTFUL!).

And this Fic, besides being a small critique to some things that did bother me about the narrative choices of the show, and amongst other things, is my love letter to an anime, a whole franchise, that made up a good amount of my childhood memories and still brings me joy even to this day.

Anyhow, this is a fragment of the next chapter to be released next Saturday, and I hope this post brings more attention to the fic so you can tell me your opinions how I am going in some areas and in which I may falter.
