Wishbone kitchen is a skinny queen!

Wishbone kitchen is a skinny queen!

Here’s the validation you were looking for by posting this, Mere!

You’re so super skinny with your singular chicken tender for lunch. Skinny and rich, because you shop at Round Swamp (can’t let the people forget).

Body check coming in 3, 2, 1…

Yes MEREDITH HAYDEN, post about your “offline” summer

Original post removed bc I didn’t include Meredith’s name in the title.

Nothing says authentic, offline summer like setting up a camera to record it all!

By way of recording it all, the experience was organized around the future audience (her adoring followers), and therefore the “disconnection” never occurred.

Performative contradiction at its finest, Mere!

She’s performing a luxurious, aspirational, low tech lifestyle that she, herself cannot participate in. She HAS to record to pay the bills. The cognitive dissonance must be uncomfortable!

Something I haven’t been able to stop thinking about regarding the fight between Liz and Jo Ellen…

I’ve seen the take that the gaslighting Liz did was narcissistic. And while that’s true, I think it’s deeper than that. It was both narcissistic and an outdated tactic.

She’s a woman of relative power for which denial of abuse would have worked for her years ago, but not in 2026. Her instinct isn’t to behave as if she lives digital world, and was so heightened during the hair-pulling and shoving incident with Jo Ellen, that she forgot she was on camera. She denied it and flipped the script on Jo Ellen because that tactic has almost certainly worked for her in the past. Deny what happened, and make the person on the receiving end look crazy to boot. The thing is, Jo Ellen is operating from a digital culture (being a Millenial while Liz is Gen X might have something to do with it) and is unconsciously used to events having receipts (and quite possibly just realized everything was being filmed), whereas Liz didn’t grow up in that culture. Regardless if Jo Ellen realized everything was being filmed, she was more comfortable confronting Liz than Liz was probably used to. Liz’s denial was an outdated gaslighting tactic that is ineffective in the digital world. And the wholeeee audience saw it. Her friends and family saw it. Her community saw it.

There’s no denying her tactics now. My guess is that many women she’s done this to in the past feel vindicated, as they should. People might forgive, but they won’t forget. I believe this is the reason she’s not going to be back next season.

Edit:
Got the generations wrong, I originally thought Liz was a baby boomer and Jo Ellen was Gen X! Liz is Gen X and Jo Ellen is a Millennial. I sincerely apologize for making a mistake in this perfect world! 💞
