PCM Studio v0.3.0 — PCM 2025 support and 3D race-jersey modding without Unreal Editor
Hey everyone!
I’ve been working on PCM Studio, a database, career-save and visual-mod editor for Pro Cycling Manager. Version 0.3.0 is now available, with three main additions.
If you haven’t seen it before, the idea is to make PCM editing more approachable: dedicated cyclist, team and race workspaces, alongside the full database tables for anyone who wants to dig deeper.
If you missed the initial release, here’s the v0.2.0 post with a fuller overview of PCM Studio’s features.
What’s new?
PCM 2025 support
PCM Studio now has dedicated support for PCM 2025 alongside PCM 2026, including its own database profile and game/artwork locations.
Editing the jerseys riders actually wear in 3D races
This is the biggest addition for people interested in visual mods. You can now replace supported 3D race-jersey textures, rather than just the small jersey images shown in menus.
The workflow is:
- Find the jersey in the Asset Manager’s Race jerseys tab.
- Export the original texture as a PNG template.
- Edit that image in your preferred image editor.
- Import it back into PCM Studio.
- Build a visual-mod package and follow its included installation instructions.
You don’t need to install Unreal Editor for this workflow. PCM Studio handles creating the replacement game assets and patch PAK.
There are a few important details:
- Keep the original image dimensions and the positions of the garment panels. This is a flattened texture template, not a photograph of a jersey.
- Standard, national-champion and other special jerseys are separate assets. Replace the variants you want to change.
- Menu mini-jerseys and 3D race jerseys are separate, too.
- This replaces textures on existing clothing models; it does not create new 3D models.
The game’s original PAK files remain untouched. You can also bundle database edits and visual replacements into one shareable .pcmstudio-mod package.
Easier updates, with release notes
PCM Studio now automatically checks for updates on startup. When an update is available, you can read what changed before deciding whether to install it.
You can decline and update later. The manual update check is still available.
The database editor is still the main focus
Everything from the earlier version remains available: cyclist/team/race workspaces, related records, bulk editing, advanced search, saved views, creation wizards, database comparison, integrity checks, backups and recovery.

Please keep backups of important careers and test your mods on a copy first.
I’d love to hear how it works with your databases and jersey projects. If you run into a problem, please include your PCM version, what you were trying to do, and the error message or a screenshot, it makes tracking things down much easier.
