Hi guys!

This is my first post, and I´m sorry if this question has been asked before.

My question is: I´m moving to Japan from Sweden for work (A specialized role), but I´m also in need of a new phone. Would it be recommended to buy a phone from Sweden (iPhone 18 Pro Max) and download all the apps, etc here, or just buy a new phone in Japan? I will be flying back and forth between Sweden and Japan from time to time and will use it for calling ppl normally and not through apps such as Messenger, Instagram, and so on.

And I won´t mind the price of the phone or anything; a starting salary of 8 million yen should be more than enough.

Thanks & all the best
