When I go walking around this part of my neighborhood I always look at this street light when I go through this Alleyway when I can get through because for some reason this Alleyway can get very busy at times cars rushing and racing through or stopping in the middle of the Alleyway and blocking anyhow I had to finally take a picture and show you all and as you can see in the picture it is 150 Watts High Pressure Sodium and this I definitely know still works I have walked through here at night

I just got my 90 Watt Low Pressure Sodium bulb 💡 yesterday from eBay I was so excited to hook up my 90 Watt LPS street light but then once I wired it up correctly I find out that it doesn't want to work I feel the capacitor or igniter is trying to work I feel it working and slightly hear it but I am guessing it could be the ballast that is bad I know it can't be my 90 Watt LPS bulb 💡 that made it safe and sound here because I do know those bulbs can be very delicate and fussy but the eBay seller was super awesome they packaged my bulb with tons of bubble wrap and cardboard anyway I wanted to show you all what is going on because I don't know what I am doing wrong or missing I know my shorting cap works because it definitely works on my GE M-250R2 as you see in the pictures next to my 90 Watt LPS street light I may have to buy parts from the eBay seller that I bought this 90 Watt LPS street light from to get it to work again 🤔🥴😞💡

I just got this earlier today from eBay it is an early birthday present, my brand new GE M-250R2 with a glass drop refractor I have it turned on, on my bed in one picture and the other picture where it is standing next to my 90 Watt Low Pressure Sodium street light in my bedroom street light collection eventually I will show my 90 Watt Low Pressure Sodium street light turned on soon

I have a spare bulb from my collection that I don't have an active use for, and I'm hoping to trade it with another collector for some hardware or parts I need!

250 Watt High Pressure Sodium (HPS) Bulb: Brand New In Box (NIB). I bought this last fall on eBay and it has never been used. It's completely mint, clean, and kept safely stored in its original factory cardboard sleeve.

What I'm looking to trade for:

Twist-lock NEMA photocells (Tork, Intermatic, Ripley, Fisher Pierce, etc.).

Street light hardware (empty/gutted cobra head shells with glass or polycarbonate plastic drop refractors and mogul base and photocell socket).

Located in San Diego, CA. I am opened to shipping it safely within the US, but I am also highly open to a local meet-up/swap if you are in the Southern California area!

I have a brand new, New Old Stock (NOS) 250 Watt High Pressure Sodium lamp that has been stored safely indoors in my bedroom closet, originally bought from eBay. It is still New In Box (NIB) in its original factory packaging.

Since I don't have a 250 Watt HPS fixture, I don't have a use for it and would love to trade it with another street light enthusiast!

Never burned, clean envelope, and pristine arc tube.

Here we have an Autobahn LED street light with two different glare shields on it so people's homes don't get blasted by the crisp bright white light into their houses and apartments also this Autobahn street light is definitely on my favorite vintage Southern California mast arms again these mast arms are in certain parts of the city whereas the other mast arms I see around the city I don't really care for because I just think 🤔 they are kind of boring and not vintage

I took this behind the brand new Sprouts Shopping Center 🛒 in the Alleyway I am keeping an eye on this parking lot because I am still going to try and ask the bucket truck crew if I can have one of these GE M-1000's I am not going to give up that easy 🤔😤😎💡

So my Mom's boyfriend and I tried asking to get one of these awesome GE M-1000's cobra heads but the main contractor was stressed out and brushed us off, he said that the electrical contractor that handles these street lights are from Los Angeles and they immediately scrap them for money and drop them off at one of the scrap yards here in San Diego anyway getting back to the main contractor why he was stressed out is because the Sprouts Shopping Center 🛒 isn't complete yet so they are going to have an inspection sometime today so when my Mom's boyfriend and I came back to the car 🚗 I had to take some last pictures of these awesome M-1000's that are on the side of the store I would try to get up closer but they have construction 🚧 fences up where you can't get to these because these are pretty much the last 6 M-1000's left, in my last description where I said the rest of the parking lot has already been remodeled with cheap shorter poles of junky LEDs in black

Another American Electric Model 115 but this time with a glass drop refractor in an Alleyway in another part of North Park (San Diego) but kind of in a bad part of North Park only at night it is dangerous being over in this section of San Diego the day time is much safer

Here we have the King Of Cobra Heads the GE M-1000 with the beautiful huge thick glass drop refractor in a brand new Sprouts Shopping Center 🛒 on El Cajon Blvd in North Park (San Diego) I am hoping to catch the contractor that is taking these down because I want to be there and ask if I could have one to add to my street light collection the other half of the parking lot has brand new miniature posts and flat cheap LED's, these pictures of these cobra heads are on the side of the store building and there are some in the back of the store building I almost forgot to mention these GE M-1000's are from sometime in the 70's

I don't know but for some reason American Electric Model 115's are very popular around the North Park (San Diego) area especially with cut off glass refractors this one unfortunately doesn't work but I do remember it working years ago and yes for some of you I know this might be a boring street light but I do like the 2 inch 2 foot long galvanized steel mounting arm I am definitely trying to find a 2 inch 5 foot or 6 foot galvanized steel mounting arm or even like this arm as you see in the picture I just didn't realize how impossible these arms are to get to add to my bedroom street light collection 🤔☺️😞

I found this GE last generation induction cobra head street light with a glare shield on it and with a vintage 50's 1 1/4" arm this one as you can see in the picture it is 85 Watts and on a 240 volt city circuit

I walked all the way over to South Park (San Diego) and found this little version Induction cobra head street light on my favorite vintage 60's arm I had to take a picture of this to show you all, obviously this isn't in a Alleyway it is in a neighborhood

Again on another one of my walks around the neighborhood and like I promised I would take more pictures of street lights I have been walking by this street light for a couple years and kept eyeing it a lot now I finally had to take a picture of it however this High Pressure Sodium street light doesn't work which is a shame 😞😢 and yes this is in a Alleyway behind the North Park Library

This is in the back Alleyway of my apartment building 🏢 here in Normal Heights (San Diego) this is the weirdest setup and what I mean is a GE M-250A with a cut off glass refractor in certain parts of San Diego in the Alleyways they do this to these GE M-250As but it also is on another cool vintage 50's 1 1/4" 5 foot long galvanized steel mounting arm that I also want for my street light collection someday to display my street lights on even though it is a weird setup as you can see in the picture I definitely wouldn't reject this if the city got rid of the arm and cobra head I definitely want it I always look at this when I leave the apartment and come back home and this street light works every night it is High Pressure Sodium I think 100 Watts on a 120 volt city circuit

Earlier today on a trip into the Suburbs in Escondido, CA this afternoon my brother and I went window shopping at thrift stores I saw these and had to stop and take a picture to show you all these awesome late 50's early 60's General Electric cobra head street lights walking pass the Escondido Square Shopping Center 🛒 I am not sure what model these are 🤔 but I saw these growing up during the 80's and 90's and of course today, but not these exact ones but in Northern California and Northern Nevada plus San Francisco, CA and other places along the way these cobra head street lights have always grabbed my attention growing up as a little kid and my teenage years, even still till this day ☺️

I definitely can tell you that these awesome hidden gems are not 90 Watts these are 55 Watts Low Pressure Sodium street lights, there is another one on the next wooden utility pole next to it but I didn't take a picture of it because I didn't want to repeat the same street light and they are both on my favorite vintage 60's Southern California 2" galvanized steel mounting arms also these both do not work they haven't in years because I have walked by these at night and never saw them on what a shame 😞😢
