Wooksauce x Willardz Bioflux

Big fan of WW, Willardz, and Bioflux so had to snag a jar. Nose is very heavy on the chem with a bit of an orange rind and spice. Nose translates to the taste but adds in additional notes of pine. Excellent stuff as always.

HPR Bearings

Purchased the complete bearing upgrade kit for both my stradic 3000 and saragosa 5000. Mainly just to experiment and tinker around with. Anyone used HPR bearings before and were there any noticeable improvements?

Hang Loose Hash Pink OGZ

Been a little while since I grabbed a jar from HLH. Snagged this one since I simply can’t say no to an OGZ. Nose is classic OGZ with a hint of candy in there, will follow up with a more granular review after I spend some time with it.

On another note, if anyone knows the cross on this I’d love to know. Can’t get through to HLH and would really appreciate it for my notes.

Rod Recommendation Needed

Every year I take a week long trip to visit family in Shediac New Brunswick during late July/early August. I’m based out of South Carolina and do a lot of fishing here, but not a ton of experience fishing the NB area. I’d like to try to target stripers as I believe the time I’m there is a pretty solid window.

With that being said, I’m looking at various travel rods including the ardito, saltiga, TFO traveler, etc. Does anyone have any experience with these or have others they would recommend? Cost isn’t a huge concern, but this will likely be a rod that isn’t used much beyond a week a year.

Also, I assume I’m looking for a medium heavy fast rod paired with a 5000 reel? Any chance I can get away with a medium fast rod and a 3000 reel for NB striper fishing?
