Has anyone had stream slowdown post procedure but then stabilize?

I had a bulbar stricture which was treated with Optilume. It recurred after about 5 months very suddenly and I had an end to end urethroplasty. after only about 6 weeks post catheter removal my stream suddenly got very slow again. After a cystoscopy, I underwent another Optilume procedure as an emergency patient. It is now about 9 weeks later and my stream has been slowing down again, however it seems to have stabilized. It is nothing like the fire hose after the procedure, but still ok. I empty completely in about a minute.

I’m wondering if anyone has had this happen and then was ok for a much longer time with the more moderate flow? Or does the initial slowdown mean the stricture is returning and I will need another urethroplasty? I hate to redo the surgery, especially since it didn’t work in the first place, but my urologist said that is the next step If it continues to slow down. This time would require a graft.

Has anyone experienced this? Do you think I might be ok and just live with a more moderate flow? Would you have another urethroplasty even though the first one failed? Thanks for any comments.
