Tern HSD/GSD on skytrain
Trying to figure out if bringing a Tern HSD or GSD onto the Canada Line is allowed, and what the experience is actually like day-to-day.
Context: I need to take it to drop my kid off at daycare in Richmond. I'm thinking biking + skytrain is better than bridge car traffic. Plus I've wanted a cargo bike for a long time.
From what I've gathered, the SkyTrain allows e-bikes up to 175cm. The HSD comes in at around 170cm, so it should be fine, but the GSD is reportedly 180-190cm depending on the model, which puts it over the limit.
Has anyone taken either of these on the SkyTrain? Is it manageable in practice, even with the size?
