When to teach Puppy Zoomies only outside?
Hello! I have an adorable puppy just over 3 months and she gets puppy zoomies where she runs like a bat out of hell up and down the entire stretch of inside the house.
This is amusing, but I don’t want her to get hurt and she knocked my disabled mom’s feet out from underneath her yesterday, which is super dangerous for my mom’s health.
How old can I start teaching my puppy to only zoom outside? Right now she is learning “calm down” but once she’s zooming, she’s unstoppable. I have noticed she often needs a nap when she does this, but not always. Sometimes she just has energy to burn.
