Had the best experience at Tom’s Craftsteak in Las Vegas

Went to Tom’s Craftsteak at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas tonight! Not only was the food and service phenomenal, but I mentioned offhand to our hostess that I loved Top Chef as she was leading us to our table, and towards the end of the meal our waiter told us she’s actually Tom’s niece and the manager/co-owner of that location. She ended up sending us free dessert and then came out with a signed copy of Tom’s cookbook to take home.

My nerdy little TC-loving heart was so giddy ❤️

What if bringing Tyra on as a judge is a sinking ship PR strategy

With last season being so largely hated and Tyra being such a bizarre choice right now, what if bringing her on is so the show can shove the blame onto her if/when the show is canceled after this season? Then they don’t really have to admit fault for making so many bad decisions that the show has become an unrecognizable suckfest now, they can try to hide behind Tyra’s bad reputation instead.

Just a cynical theory! Because I can’t justify the Tyra casting any other way.
