I keep forgetting to post this, I painted it over two weeks ago already and I keep thinking to myself I should post it to this subreddit and then forgetting, whoops. But here it finally is!

Hikaru and I (X fronting) walking the doggy that was staying with us for a weekend. This walk was absolutely magical, it felt so comforting, the weather was just right, and it was so good to spend some quality time with my man and one of my favourite doggos.

It was actually Hikaru's birthday a couple days after this (the fifth!) and a post about that will follow as we had a fantastic time, but I have yet to start my sketchbook page about that (I've been so unbelievably busy!) but eventually!

Yesterday I really did not feel like going for my usual walk, my life has been extremely hectic as of late and I'm even more exhausted than usual, but the weather was lovely and I knew it was a good idea to go, I just couldn't find the motivation.

Then X, who was fronting at the time, suggested we'd go get some ice cream, as there's a gelato shop about a twenty minute walk away, so to and fro would come to forty minutes, which is a little under what I usually do but much, much better than nothing at all. And, well... ice cream sounded very pleasant, so he managed to convince me.

I love going for walks with my man, it's so much nicer than going for walks alone. Getting to talk to him makes it a thousand times less boring and enjoying the scenery and the nice weather together is lovely.

For the longest time, due to numerous chronic conditions, I wasn't able to walk for more than 10 minutes at a time, but I've finally managed to make some progress and build up my stamina, and now I can walk for an hour or so which is so much more than I ever thought possible. Hikaru has supported and accompanied me since I started going for daily walks back in November and it's honestly changed my life, I'm so much more active than I ever dreamed I could be and I feel so much more independent.

To some people it may be a small thing, but it means the world to me that I was able to walk to the ice cream shop with him, because I haven't had that luxury in 4-5 years.

Anyway he got lemon (he's not a big fan of sweet things so he was hoping this one would be less sugary lol) and I got lemon cake, which was a flavour I hadn't tried before. Apparently it's got little cake crumbs in it which added a very fun texture! When I mentioned it to X he wanted to try it as well, and I was a bit surprised because, as noted, he does not like sweet things, but then he surprised me even more with a kiss. He's the most reserved out of all his alters so I wasn't expecting it, but apparently he does enjoy the taste of lemon cake so maybe I should get that flavour more often >X"D

Also he does make a habit of putting flowers in my hair whenever we walk past some and it makes me really happy, everything is blossoming at the moment and it definitely makes me feel extra pretty, esp because he keeps complimenting me >///< I've been feeling rather insecure as of late, so he's made it his mission to tell me I'm pretty at least a hundred times a day haha.

Anyway go get some ice cream with your F/Os everybody!!!
