How can I find a job during my zoekjaar
My name is Saskia, and I am currently in the final phase of my Master’s degree in Strategic Communication in the Netherlands. After graduation, I would like to start working as a communication advisor. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and have 17 years of work experience in the financial sector, which has provided me with a strong foundation in analysis, stakeholder communication, and organizational processes.
During my master’s research in Tilburg-West, I focused on themes such as inclusion, economic participation, and the tension between the system world and the lived experiences of communities. Through this process, I gained experience in action research within social contexts and learned how to translate signals from practice into strategic communication issues. My strength lies in connecting different perspectives and exploring complex issues both within and outside organizations.
After completing my studies, I would like to continue working in the Netherlands. Therefore, I am looking for an organization that can support me during the orientation year process and offer opportunities related to work and residence permits (visa sponsorship). Since I am fluent in Dutch and bring both professional and academic experience, I am highly motivated to further apply and develop my knowledge within an organization that values inclusion, social impact, and strategic communication.
I would be pleased to connect with organizations, recruiters, or professionals who are aware of opportunities within communication, policy, social organizations, or consultancy.
