I wonder if "Physical age" confirms (once again) he's not human/very old

Mother wants to keep 89 y/o grandma post-stroke at home, no rehab. Advice?

The stroke happened a month ago. Grandma lost most cognitive function, maybe able to answer one or two basic questions if you catch her attention. She kept a lot of motor skills, but her right side is very weak.

In my country there's no free rehab, only 2 free weeks of hospital recovery, after which you have to either pay half a car worth of money for a good rehab/retirement home or keep the person at home.

My mother is very emotional about it - and, of course, i fully understand that - and is not considering rehab at all.

The rest of the family has agreed that keeping her at home is not a good idea, because:

- nobody would be able to provide medical attention or training;

- I'm not able to lift her up in case she falls, she weighs 90kg;

- Taking care of her is very difficult and is insanely mentally draining - to add to it, i have several mental disorders and am unable to rest at night due to anxiety about her wellbeing and also have to take care of the household.

additional info:

- I live with grandma and my 24y/o sister, she works 9-5 so isn't home most of the time,

- We have a small dog that i also take care of,

- My mother and her husband live 25 minutes away from here,

- I don't know any neighbors.

- We struggle with money a lot. Mother works two jobs, step dad is a far-distance trucker. Atop of my education, we have to pay a mortgage. We can afford rehab, it'll just set my college education back a year and I'll work in the meantime.

I don't know whether i should keep trying to convince my mother to consider rehab (it has already become a fighting ground) or try to deal with it as i can.

I'm sorry if this is badly worded, i have had few hours of sleep today and I'm not native. I'd appreciate any advice.
