Large workload.

Hi all,

I’m just wondering how people here cope with large workloads in a CO role. I think it’s starting to effect me negatively in terms of my mental health. As I’m working though my lunch some days and do work on the weekends some times too.

I understand this is against work rules to work outside work hours. It’s just that I find it easier to get x,y and z done. Than have to try to explain why I don’t have it done..

Also my manager asked me why I had I got no holidays booked off yet. I took one AL day off. But if I take time off for holidays I’m only going to be thinking about my workload on my AL. So I don’t see the point.

I want to make it clear that I’m just looking for techniques to work more efficiently. This is not a request for legal or HR advice. I understand that’s against the rules here.

Thanks. 🙂

Getting that EV itch

Hi all, so when EV’s first came out. I used to have a “hey EV’s suck!” Attitude and I put my hands up to this. For the most part I was stubborn. I think my commute of 110-150 a day was part of the reason. Naivety is a part of it too.

Any way I’ve been looking into this a lot recently. In the past 3 or so months. I’ve actually grown to like the EV’s in general and I am becoming more and more tempted to get one. The new scheme only sweetens the deal even further. 8.5k is a nice little reduction.

I’m currently in the process of buying a new (first) house and it’s a B rated property. We should get the keys in August. So I think I will avail of the scrappage scheme and get a EV and charger. I actually thought you needed solar panels too until I seen a thread here today about it.

So how much would a charger set you back?

I’ve been looking at the Ioniq6 N. But ai don’t actually think we are getting the N version. So I think a regular ioniq 6 should do.. (I also looked at the Renault 5 EV but the range doesn’t seem good enough for my commute.)

Are EV’s as reliable as people say they are?

Are we as well to buy the EV now and crave with a granny charger from the parents house? or wait until (about) August?

I’m currently driving a 13 Octavia and I’m just not sure how longer it will keep running for. It has 400k nearly on the clock..

So suppose I’m looking for any other suggestions you may have? I’m still very much learning about EV’s etc but that itch ain’t going away anytime soon..

Thanks

Lat Pull down - 57kg

Hi all,

So I’ve come to 57kg in the lat pull down where I can do 12 reps of 2 and bring the wind grip handle to my upper chest.

I then switch it up to the next weight which is 61kg. With this weight I can only do half reps ie bring the wide grip handle to level of my chin and I get only about 5/6/7 reps per set. I can’t seem to get past this.

Have you got any advice or suggestions? Thank in advance!
