For those who workout in the mornings, how long does it take you to “wake up”?

Wondering how long it’s taking you guys to “get going” in the mornings?
I work nights myself so my “morning” wake up is actually 2.30pm, but it takes me at least 45min to and hour from waking and slamming a can of Monster to just get going?
Are some of you animals waking up and out the door to the gym within 15-20 minutes or what? I feel like that first hour after waking is just dead time, but i just can’t seem to make myself move so soon after waking.

Got my Surge back from the warranty repair system… a little disappointed.

Sent my surge to Germany for a few repairs. Got it back today and I’m a little disappointed.
They replaced the handle on one side, so now the tool looks like a Frankensurge. Worn on one side and brand new black on the other. I don’t like the look of it now… but the tools were fixed for the most part so I can’t complain about that too much.

But, am I being a bit pedantic, to assume they would have replaced my plier head due to the damage in the picture here? They didn’t touch that at all and it came back exactly the same as I sent it in. I specifically listed that as one of my damaged tools.
It was sent in marked as Non-sentimental, so I admit I had kinda hoped they’d just fire off a refurb to me from the shelf.

If you’re having trouble with your first pull-up, do slow negatives.

I’ve read this advice on here a few times (thank you to anyone who has posted it previously) but I just wanted to draw a bit of attention to the advice again.
I’ve (44M, 79kg) been struggling with pull-ups despite being regularly in the gym for over 2 years now. I could do a few neutral grips ones but I just couldn’t seem to break that first clean wide-grip overhand pull-up.

Although I’d read this advice a few times, I didn’t try it until literally 3 days ago by standing up on a bench and stepping off into the top of the movement and lowering myself as slowly as I could. Done the same thing a handful of times each day for the past few days and today I just knew something felt different in my back and sure enough I was able to do 4 really clean pull-ups from a dead hang. And I know now I’m going to be able to build those up like any other movement over time. I’m genuinely chuffed about finally getting going with this particular exercise.

Give it a try if you’re finding them difficult.

Do you have any recommendations for tattoo artists based in Ireland that specialise in blackwork and negative spaces or possibly blastover tattoos?

I’m looking to get an old faded sleeve tattoo reworked, but I have no idea where to even start looking these days. I haven’t been tattooed regularly in nearly 20 years so I have no idea about the scene or prices these days.

Would love to hear some recommendations if anyone has any. Thanks.
