NFSOT! This one's a new Alien Labs strain to me, although, I think it's been out for a little while at this point. I've been really enjoying that Trulieve has been running so many specials and coming up with different ways to let us try all the different premium Flower options that they offer recently. So far, I'm finding this batch to be exceptionally pleasant, and definitely on par with the quality standards that I've come to expect of Alien Labs products. The bag appeal is amazing on the jar that I received. Mine came with a bunch of decently sized nugs of a bright green color with some nice golden hairs woven throughout. My favorite thing about this strain is just how sparkly all the trichomes are. I usually say something like "dusted" or "coated" but I don't even think those descriptors come close. I tried hard to capture what I'm seeing in my pictures, but they don't really do this bud justice. Literally, when you move these around under the light, they look like little geode chunks. I'm happy to say that this is probably the prettiest jar of Flower I've received all year! Where fragrance and flavor are concerned, this one is super loud and really appealing, think about the way a bag of gummy worms might smell on the top, and then under that is a little bit of a sharper chem note. Effects lasted about 2 hours, and felt really sedative and soothing, definitively a relaxing body high, and should be great for the evening. I picked this up at $45 and threw some points at it on top of the Reddit 50% off discount, needed to grab some cones too and those were only $2, so pretty worthwhile all-in-all. I'd definitely give it my stamp of approval, and could easily recommend this to anyone looking for a new Indica to try! Happy smoking, otherwise, everyone!

NFSOT! As a rule of thumb, I'm usually pretty obsessed with anything melon flavored, and I've been eyeing Melon Barz by Seed Junky for some time now. When I saw these 1gs pop up for $10 a piece, I figured I'd be able to get fairly close to an eighth for a good price with my points attached, and decided to scoop three of these to try out through the week. For the $26 that this ended up costing me, I'm pretty satisfied with my haul. For starters, I'm fairly sure I received 3.5g or more between these three jars, and the quality on this batch is exceptional. Straight out of the jar, I was very impressed with the look of this Flower. Mine came absolutely coated with sparkling trichomes, bright green bud, and cute pinkish-orange hairs all throughout which remind me so much of real watermelon. On the nose this one's a little hard to immediately identify, but I think I'm getting a sort of earthy-floral fragrance, with a bit of a sweeter candylike undertone, and the flavor is comparably floral in nature. I tried this one out yesterday, and found it to be pretty cerebral, but nice and relaxing too. For context, I ended up bowling with some friends after a round or two of this batch, and I felt both super mellow and locked into my conversations and the game at hand; super uplifting, definitely a feel-good high. Effects lasted a solid 2-ish hours without any extra help from my pen or a dab. I'd definitely recommend taking a look at this one if you've been on the fence too. NFSOT! I saw that Trulieve was running premium branded flowers for $45 a piece today, and I decided to pickup a jar of Zangria based on the lab reports for this batch, to help get me through the week to come. I've been really enjoying some of the different top-tier Flower strains that Trulieve has been offering over the last few weeks, and this batch of Zangria is no exception to that. This one, as is true of the other AL/CC strains that I've received recently, is so pretty! Super sparkly, with deep greens and purples, and golden hairs and trichomes sprinkled all over, plus my nugs were pretty chunky all-in-all. The nose on this one is really pleasant too, sort of smells like a fruit cake, with some mango-like notes up front, and vanilla-pastry notes under that. I would say that the taste is more generally citrusy or fruity, but the clouds are thick and smoke is loud in the best way possible! Effects kicked in pretty instantly with this batch, and I could clearly feel my sesh for the next 3ish hours after smoking a single bowl. Super relaxing, peaceful, and versatile strain for having a chill, laid back day, or a peaceful and cozy night in! Super happy with this one, and I'll definitely be cherishing every last little nug that I got! I hope you guys had some great pickups this weekend, too, and happy smoking everybody!

NFSOT! Trulieve's selling Live Resin, Rosin, and Budder at 2 for $60 today, and I wanted to stop in to see what they've got going on. I picked up a Sly Look Live Rosin and Fruit Cake Live Resin since these had the highest terp percentages at my location. I did toss 4 dollars in Rewards points onto this to bring the total down to just a little bit under the $60 asking price. I think I've tried both of these strains before, and I'm really happy with how they're stacking up against my previous experiences with them so far. It's been a little while since I've picked up Resin from Trulieve, and this batch of Fruit Cake is a perfect return; super golden colored granules, but my concentrate is dense enough to be really easy to work with using a hot knife. Fragrance profile is very citrus-forward, but you do get some of the spicier notes on the inhale. The Sly Look Rosin is also very pretty in the jar, mine is a pale, creamy color, and is also really easy to work with. This one has a much more gas-like, and loud fragrance, that permeates quick and ends up smelling a little more sweet and creamy. I did try the Sly Look as soon as I got home with it, and am happy to say that it's a big win from me. Super sedative and relaxing, definitely a couch-lock batch that will be perfect for some evening time relaxation. I'm looking forward to testing out the Fruit Cake Resin a little later tonight, too, but Trulieve always hits the Cake strains out of the park in my experience. NFSOT! Trulieve dropped a new Alien Labs Sativa strain yesterday, and I decided to grab some of this first batch to see how it's working out of the gate. So far, I'm really impressed with this bud. Straight out of the packaging, this is one of the prettiest Flowers I've picked up in a long time. This batch is truly bright green with plenty of orange hairs throughout and a good amount of vibrant purple incorporated too. What really shocked me was how sparkly this batch is! I tried to include some close up pics so you can get a feel for what I'm seeing in this batch, it truly glistens in the light, I couldn't be happier with GMA's bag appeal. It also has a nice smell in the jar, sort of a garlicy, gasoline fragrance, which is comparable to the flavor of the smoke. Where effects are concerned, this was a great one to have handy on a busy Saturday with friends. It's super energetic and uplifting, great for focus, and after about 2 and a half to 3 hours I was left with a relaxed, euphoric calmness which felt super nice. This is maybe one of my new favorites from Alien Labs. I'm definitely going to be treasuring this batch for as long as I can! Happy smoking everybody!

NFSOT! I've been on such a Sativa kick the last few weeks that my Indica supply was starting to dwindle little by little. I wanted to toss a heavy hitter into the mix during my visit to Trulieve today, and was to the moon to find that a couple of different premium brand strains were discounted to $45 ($35 in my case since I had $10 in points saved up)! When checking out the different options with my budtender, I was pretty pleased to find a high limonene and linalool percentage on this batch of Strawberry Tartz, and decided to give it a go based on that. Straight after popping open the jar on this batch, I knew I'd made the right choice. My nugs are nice and chunky, and the fragrance that wafts up to you is diesel-like and creamy. The actual appearance of the Flower is a little hard to get a perfect picture of, but my jar is super frosty and sparkly, and the color is a dark green with a bit of orange and lots of rich purple patches all over. Flavor was nice, and in my Proxy bowl the smoke came out super thick and milky, which I love. This strain is insanely relaxing and mellow, but it's feeling pretty balanced, too. I wouldn't necessarily consider this to be a couch-lock Indica. The effects from this batch hit pretty instantly and have been going strong for the last hour to hour and a half, without any extra smoking or vaping. I'll definitely be smoking on this in the evening time for the rest of the week, and can't wait to kick back and relax with this strain handy. NFSOT! I've seen everyone raving about Cherry Cap by MFxSJ in this subreddit, and I figured adding a new Sativa flower into my stash couldn't hurt any! I've always been a fan of the Modern Flower and Seed Junky collaboration strains, but Cherry Cap is all new to me. So far, I'm super impressed with what this strain has to offer. In the jar, this has a super gassy nose on it, with maybe a little bit of that sweet cherry sitting under it, which makes sense considering the lineage is Cherry Cola and Cap Junky. The bud I got is super dusted and sparkly, and has a bright green color with some vibrant orange hairs. Smoke was smooth and flavorful (gassy and a little sweet just like how it smells), and the effects hit me pretty quick. I'm finding this to be a great smoke for enhanced clarity, and focus, but I'm also finding some relaxation properties which I think would make this a pretty nice strain for evening use, too. This one's a 10/10 for me, and I think that the hype surrounding this strain has been right on the money. I'd recommend checking this one out while it's available for $35. I tossed $10 in points towards this one and got out at $25 which I'd argue is pretty good considering the THC% and terp levels. NFSOT! I've been really happy to see some good deals making it over to the Live Rosin at Trulieve recently, and so I was all too eager to go grab something Sativa-based to help me make it through the work week! At $35, this batch of Creamsickler was a no-brainer for me to pick up. I'm really satisfied with the jar that I received, and I think this will be a great addition to my weekly roster. The concentrate itself looks and smells great, in this case being a nice pale color with a firm but malleable waxy consistency, and a true creamsicle, orange ice-pop fragrance in the jar. The flavor is lightly fruity and really smooth, and the effects have been quite nice as well! I've found this to be pretty uplifting generally, and I've also found my focus to be much more honed in since taking a dab of this off of the Pivot. NFSOT! I saw that Trulieve has a bunch of different premium Flower options available at $45 today, and I decided to stop in and pick up a jar of Baby Turtle after checking out the COAs on this batch! I was looking for something sedative to help me wind down after a long couple of days, and so far I'm really satisfied with this pickup. Where appearances are concerned, the jar that I received has pretty nice bag appeal, I'm seeing lots of bright green buds under a layer of golden hairs and frosty trichomes. In the jar this batch has a gassy, and partly floral smell which is consistent with the taste and flavor of the smoke. I killed half a joint of this a little bit ago, and it hit me pretty quickly during the sesh. This is a super sedative and relaxing strain, it made for a perfect joint to smoke before a late breakfast, and now it has me looking forward to an afternoon nap. I'm excited to finish the rest of this joint before bed tonight! Did anyone else grab any hits from the premium $45 selection today/anything I should lookout for? Happy smoking otherwise, everybody!

NFSOT! I finally ran out of the Sour Grapez Live Rosin that I picked up about a month ago, and decided to checkout what TL had available for me to restock with. I saw one of my old favs, Pink Cookies, available in Rosin for $35 today, and after checking out the CoA, decided to pick this one up! I might be a little biased since I've always been a fan of this strain, but oh man, am I loving this batch so far! Starting with fragrance and flavor, in the jar this batch has a really nice Cherries Garcia sort of smell (imagine a creamy and sour/tart smell, you definitely can tell that Cherry Pie is a part of this one's lineage), and the flavor is sort of tart and earthy, very pleasant overall. I'm also pretty pleased with the smoke on this batch, in my Proxy on the green temp, this one produced heavy, viscous clouds, but coughing was at a minimum, and I found the sesh to be very smooth from start to end. Consistency of the actual concentrate in the jar was nice as well, I got a pretty generous and buttery glob in a satisfying peachy color, which was super easy to work with on the hot knife. And the effects are just like the other Pink Cookies things that I used to see from TL all the time, super relaxing and sedative, and I was happy to find that some lingering stomach pains from this morning dulled out to be completely forgotten after about 10-15 minutes. My location had a couple of Rosin options available, I'd consider taking a look if you need a quick restock before the new week starts. Happy smoking friends!

NFSOT! It's been a hot minute since I've scored some Black Tuna from Trulieve, but at the price point of $25, I couldn't resist grabbing this batch. Straight out of the jar, I'm really impressed with this pick up. I received a couple of nice and chunky nugs in this jar, each of which is dusted in sparkly, pale trichomes, and have orange hairs sprouting up all over the bud. The aroma on this one is also lovely, sort of earthy, and a little floral. The smoke is pretty dense, and has more of an earthy/grassy flavor. Started feeling the effects of this one a few puffs into my joint, and they're consistent with my previous experiences with this strain, uplifting, and great for focus without being too energetic. I'd definitely suggest stopping in to grab one of these jars while they're sitting at this price. Can't beat that! NFSOT! I thought the idea of this flight of 1 G Cultivar strains sounded like such a cute idea on Trulieve's part, and I decided to make the jump and pick up the full set to take advantage of the 3 for $40 deal that's running today. So far, I'm actually really looking forward to trying all of these different strains out. To start, I'm really happy with the bag appeal on all 3 of them. I'm not sure what I was expecting at first, but I was pleasantly surprised to find some decently large nugs of each strain in the jars that I received, and that the overall weight came out to just a hair under 4 Gs. Each one is very sparkly and coated in a literal layer of trichomes, plus the bud all seems to be dense and spongey/sticky in consistency. The fragrance profiles are each unique here, too. I'm finding Strawberries and Cream to be earthy and creamy (imagine something like vanilla frosting), Storyteller is a little spicy but mostly candy sweet, and Purple Prototype is a bit earthy and gassy, imo. I think I'm looking forward to trying out Purple Prototype the most, just based on my general strain preferences.

My question is, how should I try these all? I'm considering turning each jar into a 1 G pre-roll, but I'm not so sure if that's the best way to go about sampling these. Can anyone else who's scored on of these flights let me know what you ended up doing with yours so I can get some ideas on how to best test out each of these strains. Happy smoking friends!

NFSOT! I saw that Trulieve was running $30 Rosin 1 gs this past weekend, and I was a little hesitant to order having seen some of the issues with the jars that people have been bumping into in this subreddit. Ultimately, I figured that with Trulieve's exchange policy, it couldn't hurt to give one a shot for the price, and I'm very pleased that I decided to make the jump. So far, I've run into absolutely no troubles with the packaging, and I'm really satisfied with the Rosin that I ended up choosing. I wanted to try Sour Grapez, mostly just because I needed a Hybrid strain to help me make it through the week. It's been a sec since I've grabbed a Live Rosin from TL, but straight out of the jar this batch smells literally just like flower; mostly pretty earthy or grass-like on this one, I'm very impressed. The flavor I have found to be very light, but similarly earthy and a little sweet on the exhale actually. Effects are fairly instantaneous, and I definitely felt a little boost in energy without getting too jittery, which some Sativas make me do. My location didn't have too much Rosin left by the time I showed up on Saturday, but I'd recommend scooping one or two the next time they have a sale running for them. NFSOT! I haven't really been on the disposable train for the past few months, and so I tried out the Clutch batteries around their launch, and then sort of forgot about them shortly after. Then today, I saw that Trulieve was running $10 eighths with the purchase of one, and so I went in and grabbed a Clutch in one of my all-time favorite strains, Blue Dreams, and an eighth of iCNDY at the sale price. Flower looks and smells good to me, haven't tried it yet and I might do a review about it later, but I really have to take a second to shout-out this little Clutch battery. I lit up an incense, ripped a blinker, sat back and immediately remembered just how powerful these tiny vapes are. It's just about TruPod levels of strength from this one, with the very clear citrusy flavor and smell that I've come to expect from this strain. Plus the clouds were super dense, with minimal coughing and a smooth inhale. I'm low on regular carts and might have to consider circling around on an Indica variation of one of these, that's just how impressed I am. My location has a 9lb Hammer disposable at 77% THC and 4.1% on terps, has anyone tried this batch out/can you vouche for it? NFSOT! I saw this batch of Crunch Berries by MF available for $25 this morning at Trulieve, and decided to give it a shot to help me with some much needed rest while I'm feeling a little under the weather. This was a perfect score where I'm concerned, and I'm pretty satisfied with this pick-up overall. Right out of the jar, this batch looks and smells amazing; each nug is evenly frosted in trichomes, with bright greens and vibrant orange hairs all throughout, and I found some nice purple patches while breaking the bud apart too, plus it has a sweet citrusy smell, which is always what I'm looking for. Ground yield is pretty good on this batch, and the smoke came out nice and thick, with a similar flavor to the fragrance I described before. Effects were pretty much instantaneous for me, and this is definitely a reasonably sedative and relaxing strain. I'm happy to have tried Crunch Berries, and I look forward to smoking some again this evening to help put me out for the evening. Happy smoking friends!
