Just got this game on the summer sale (it was like 2 bucks why not) and I'd heard it was a bit of a rage game, and I figured it'd be fun, play it while friends listened, scream a bit, why not. Played a little bit, about 20 minutes? Just got to whatever this part is in the screenshot, I know most of the areas have names from my bit of knowledge about it (mostly clips here and there) Controls are odd but I like it, a tad unintuitive but I can feel the mechanical depth they have if I can figure em out. Any advice/tips?

First no-summon Pontiff kill!

Exact opposite of a clean fight, borked a few dodges and missed one of my WA's, but other than that it was pretty solid. Tips for the future would be appreciated, on NG+7

How the fuck do you fight a Nobushi

I honestly don't know what I can do. They just hit light 3 times and kick and randomly throw the 50/50 undodgeable. I can't parry the lights, I can't dodge out of them, I can't even dodge the kick when I'm mashing the dodge button, I can't block them half the damn time, they do way too much damage, and she has too much stamina. I play BP, even with Bastion, Tough as Nails, and Bulk up at 3/4 they can just spam down my health with the stupid bleed. I genuinely don't know what else I could be doing better when I can't block, allguard, parry, dodge, bash, or superior block. I can get pressure at the start, but if I get parried or dodged once I'm just dead and I might as well put down the damn controller because now its the Nobushi's turn.

Looking into Ironworker out of High School (Greater LA Area)

OK, been poking my head around here for a bit, now time to ask the questions I couldn't find.

I'm a high school senior, literally graduating today, and 17. Ironworker seems interesting as something I can learn. Doing things and learning by hands works way better for me than just being read a textbook. I'm unsure if I should go to a school/college like LATTC (LA Trade Tech College) or JobCorp and get a cert in welding from them, or jump straight into the 433/416 once I turn 18. I've heard conflicting things, some say do a school first, some say the apprenticeships. Trying to just find a consensus here.

I'm also still a bit on the fence about what exact specialty I want to do, millwright interests me a bit, machines work well in my brain, but I'm still unsure. I'm intelligent but just can have issues when it comes to motivation when there's no direct, visual goal to do something, which is what worries me about a trade school program. I know I have half a year to figure these things out, but I'd rather get some semblance of plan and idea now.

Also curious around the physical qualifications, I'm not particularly in shape currently and am curious what I should be specifically focusing on when it comes to exercise or if there's any specific goals/standards I should be trying to meet, eg. being able to life x amount of weight, and I have found absolutely nothing concrete on what those requirements look like.

If it comes to it, would possibly be willing to move in the future, just not currently an option due my current status at 17, but is a future option if my locals turn out to be not that great.

Genuinely appreciate any help or advice ya'll can give me, thank you.
