My Service Dogs have a specific diet and I travel with them when I drive. I want to try to start flying with them now. Part of their meal is chicken breast, which I am hoping to get canned so I can fly with them. I also have wet canned dog food as part of their meal too, as well as canned green beans. If I cannot take these items in my carry on so I can be guaranteed it gets to my destination and I can feed my dogs, can I put it in regular checked luggage? Edit: I specified Service Dogs in case it makes a difference.

I have recently gotten back into ham radio and was out a few decades. Back in the 1990s when I did it I never logged anything, we just had conversations and went on our way. Now it seems Pota / Sota / and several other activities and contests require logs from both people to confirm a QSO was made. If I am logging on WRL logging, and someone else is logging on QRZ, how does the confirmation happen? Winter Field Day, Field Day coming up in June, then there are the multiple contests and awards offered for making contacts as well. I used the WRL logger because it was easy, automatically fills in most of the data from the radio USB connection, and in FT8 mode can do a full automatic logging.

I have a Icom 7300 mk2 which has a single USB C port that has 2 virtual com ports for use, in my case port 3 and port 4. I am running WSJT-X, WRL CAT control for logging, and Grid Tracker 2. I have port 3 assigned for controlling the radio on Icoms CI-V, do I use port 3 for the WRL CAT control as well as Grid Tracker 2,or do I use Com Port 4 for one of these?

Does it matter what order I start each program? Before I used Grid Tracker 2 it logged my FT8 contacts each time. It would go through the QSO sequence, then a window pops up asking if I want to log the QSO and I only needed to click on the OK button and it would log it. When I got Grid Tracker 2 working (possibly after a recent update) Cat Control is not automatically populating my information and allowing me to auto log the QSO.
