Scandium Canada has started investigating more ore resources enabling more production mining and scandium oxide capacity.
More capacity - lower capex costs per ton and as well as lower operation costs.

1. Resource extension drilling is now underway, targeting a minimum of 200 metres of additional strike length: 100 metres at each end of the currently defined TG zone of approximately 700 metres determined in the 2025 43-101 MRE= Resource Extension from 700 to 900 meters.

2. Follow-up exploration drilling will test the corridor toward the Discovery Area, extending the prospective footprint from approximately 700 metres today to approximately 1.5 kilometres. = Resource Extension from 700 to 1500 meters.

Kyushu University scientists found a rare element (Sc) hiding inside a crystal that finally makes hydrogen fuel cells cheap enough to use.

BaSnO₃ and BaTiO₃ are intrinsically “softer” than conventional SOFC materials, allowing them to absorb far more Scandium than anyone had previously assumed possible, which is precisely what makes the highway effect achievable. Scandium makes SOFC's operational for common use.
